Originally a truck driver, he was forced to go on medical leave for a year and, after being cleared for work, realized he didn’t find much fulfilment in his original career. He’d assisted his family with appliance repairs before, and so decided to pursue that particular career path. He quickly realized he had a passion for the work and for helping others, and so put in the effort to learn more about his new career and become an expert at appliance repairs.
